Brief: While The Folio Society had successfully sold several 'limited edition facsimiles', this was the first such book without any text. The botanical art market was a completely new one and the large-format book was $900. The launch needed to position Folio as expert in this area, as well as building on their tested success with limited editions.
Results: The average response rate on warm leads for these limited edition books is 1.5%. The Surinam pack had a 2.2% response rate. The book sold out and Folio went on to produce several more botanical art limited editions.
